Elizabeth
Last weekend I met with Elizabeth to do some headshots. I'm still editing, but so far this is my favorite. I love her 40's style and I am into the cross process coloring right now. More to come soon!

Portrait Mosaic

Some of my favorite portraits from 2007-2008. This is not a complete set by any means! I just like making mosaics on Big Huge Labs :-)

Puppy Love
From top to bottom: Harley and Teacup are mine, and Jasper and Lucy are my boyfriend's. I love the emotion in their eyes!

A long overdue update
Hello blog,
It's been a long time since I've updated this and an even longer time since I've posted anything significant. I have been taking a break from doing photography as a "business" (and I use that term very loosely), meaning I haven't scheduled any shoots (portraits, weddings, etc.) in months. Instead of doing the work I was putting out, I am back in school learning and re-learning the art side of photography, as well as many technical things of course. I felt like I had hit a wall in terms of creativity and technique, and the classes I am currently in are really pushing me in, what I feel, is a good direction. So I have not strayed from my camera, but I am using it in different ways right now. I still love it, still love photographing people, and I still get misty eyed just looking at wedding photos! The bottom line? I am still here. I'm still available for shoots and welcome any emails to jen.photo (@) yahoo.com.
Thanks :)

The Happiest Apple

I don't usually advertise other sites on my blog, but this store is so cute! Go check it out, it's The Happiest Apple!. She also has a blog here :)
The designs are all really cute - this one is my favorite, but most of the designs are really child-like and sweet. A quote from her profile: "Welcome to my shop! The Happiest Apple specializes in adorableness. Many of my designs were made with a nursery or child's room in mind but some are meant for big kids like myself too :Þ" That's so me!!! LOL
Anyway, I highly recommend checking it out and supporting fellows artists!
